Coomers was founded in 1956, originally supplying woodshavings and animal bedding from our Oakhanger base. We diversified into the sale of building materials in the 1980s and now operate from 3 sites at Oakhanger, Haslemere and Bordon. In more recent years, the addition of our Bordon branch has enabled us to add kitchens, bathrooms and fitted bedroom furniture to our extensive product ranges, and in turn offer a total home improvement and construction solution across our 3 branches.

We remain a family owned and run company, supplying materials and equipment to builders, plumbers, developers and to the public. Our business has been built on the bedrock of outstanding customer service, competitive pricing and excellent stock availability, and it is these three fundamentals coupled with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff that has enabled us to grow and prosper.

To ensure that we continue to compete with the large merchant groups, we are founder members of the National Buying Group, an association of progressive independent merchants spread across the country, able to negotiate buying prices competitively. This ensures we are able to pass on competitive prices to our customers.
